When we find out that a book we loved when we were children is set to be turned into a film feel an overwhelming sense of excitement. Imagine yourself as the main character in the book or novel you read and loved growing to be. Feels surreal? Olivia Rodrigo had a similar experience. Olivia Rodrigo's acting journey began by landing her the main role in The American Girl television series. Rodrigo has been watching the episodes since she was seven years old. It was a privilege for her to be to play a character she had always loved from her childhood.
